It comes down to what you have less of, time or money. - **Under $50 and an hour to spare:** an AI generator. MakeMyDemo You paste your product's public URL. MakeMyDemo reads your site, writes a script, animates your product-page visuals and adds music. The first preview is free and watermarked; after that each video costs 50 credits, which is $5. - **Where it wins:** price and effort. Nothing else here costs less or asks less of you. - **Where it falls short:** it works from your public pages, so the video shows what your landing page says rather than your app in use. MakeMyDemo itself says no screen-recording session is needed. ## 2. URLmotion URLmotion turns any website into a 60-second animated explainer in under 2 minutes. The free plan gives 50 lifetime credits with a watermark at 720p. Paid plans are $15, $35 and $79 a month, and voiceover comes in 9 languages. - **Where it wins:** speed, a free plan, and voiceover in many languages. - **Where it falls short:** like MakeMyDemo, it builds the video from your website, not from your logged-in app. Payments are non-refundable. ## 3. Screen Studio Screen Studio is a screen recorder for Mac that adds zooms, cursor motion and framing for you. It costs $9 a month on the yearly plan or $29 month to month, and every feature is in every plan. - **Where it wins:** control and cost per video. You can re-take a shot whenever you like, and if you make a lot of videos, each one costs very little. - **Where it falls short:** it runs on macOS only, and Screen Studio says it has no near-future plans for Windows. A Fiverr freelancer Fiverr gigs for SaaS demo videos ran from about $50 to $350 in search listings on 11 October 2026, with 2 to 7 days stated on the gigs. We could not open the gig pages to confirm, so check the price on the gig itself. - **Where it wins:** the lowest price for a video someone else makes, plus Fiverr's escrow and seller reviews, which many buyers already trust. - **Where it falls short:** quality and style change from seller to seller. Swoopcut is also new, so there is no wall of customer logos to look at yet. ## 6. Tetriz Tetriz is a Product Hunt launch agency. Its "All in launch" package is $900 plus a performance bonus, and a demo video is a $500 add-on: a screen recording with a voiceover by a native speaker. - **Where it wins:** it bundles the launch itself with the video, and the voiceover is included. - **Where it falls short:** the video is an add-on to a launch service, and Tetriz doesn't state how long it takes. ## 7. Flowjam Flowjam is a launch film studio. The film alone is $15,000. For $20,000, $30,000 or $40,000 it also pushes the film out on launch day and guarantees 100,000, 500,000 or 1,000,000 views in writing. Each plan takes around 3 weeks, comes with unlimited revisions and has 4 slots a month. Flowjam does not offer refunds. - **Where it wins:** reach. It is the only option here that puts a view count in writing, and it films on location. - **Where it falls short:** price and time. At $15,000 and 3 weeks, it fits a funded team with a launch date far ahead. ## Is an AI launch video good enough? For a first cut, often yes. AI generators are cheap and fast, and they read your public site well. They don't log in to your app, so if the moment that sells your product happens after sign-in, a recording shows it better.
