The short version
- Navattic is software for interactive product demos: viewers click through a captured copy of your app. The free Starter plan has 1 seat and 1 demo. Paid plans are billed yearly and the pricing page doesn’t list prices.
- Swoopcut is a service. We film a launch video of your web app for you, and you pay after a watermarked preview. Prices start at $149.
- Pick Navattic when buyers should try the product themselves. Pick a filmed video when the clip goes on your landing page, Product Hunt or social feeds.
We run Swoopcut, so read this with that in mind. Navattic’s facts come from navattic.com/pricing and the Navattic docs on 21 October 2026. Plans change, so check them before you buy.
Is Navattic good for a launch video?
Navattic is built for interactive demos, and it does those well. You capture your app, add steps and text, and embed a demo that visitors click through at their own pace. Paid plans add things like AI voiceovers, AI avatars, CRM integrations and analytics on who viewed what.
It can also export a demo as a video or GIF. The Export Preview option plays a flow step by step, with a set time per step, and Navattic suggests the file for social posts and emails. That gives you a slideshow of the demo’s steps. It won’t look like a recording of someone using the live app.
Swoopcut does not make interactive demos. If you want a click-through demo, Navattic or a tool like it is the right buy.

Where Navattic wins
- Buyers try it themselves. An interactive demo lets a visitor click through the product before signing up, which a video can’t do.
- Sales tooling. Paid plans list integrations with Salesforce, Marketo, Gong, Salesloft and Outreach, plus account identification and alerts when a demo gets interest.
- Free to start. The Starter plan gives 1 seat and 1 demo with unlimited views and basic analytics.
- Many demos, one tool. Base and Growth include unlimited HTML demos for teams of 5 and 10 seats.
- It covers more than web apps. Navattic also takes media demos and offers mobile demos. Swoopcut only films web apps that open in Chrome.
Where Swoopcut wins
- It looks like a launch video. We film the launch video of your app in a real browser at 1080p60, with camera moves that follow the cursor.
- You don’t build anything. Send a link to your app, a test login for a demo account and one line on what to show. A watermarked preview arrives within 48 hours of working access.
- You see it before you pay. If the video isn’t usable, you don’t pay.
- Prices are on the page. The Launch Clip is $149, the Launch Pack is $399 for 3 clips in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16, and Always Fresh is $249 a month.
Which one fits?
- Your sales team wants prospects to click through the product: Navattic.
- You need a clip for your landing page, a Product Hunt launch or a post on X: a filmed launch video. The Launch Clip is $149 for one 20 to 45 second clip with captions and a thumbnail.
- You want both: build the interactive demo for your site and use a filmed clip for launch posts and ads.
Common questions
How much does Navattic cost?
On 21 October 2026 the Starter plan was free for 1 seat and 1 demo. Base, Growth and Enterprise are billed yearly, and the pricing page asks you to contact sales instead of listing prices. There is also a Startup plan for bootstrapped or seed-stage teams of 30 or fewer.
Can Navattic export a video?
Yes. In the demo editor, Export Preview turns a flow into a video or GIF, with a set number of steps and time per step. The result plays the demo’s steps in order, so it reads as a walkthrough of screens rather than a filmed session.
Does Swoopcut make interactive demos?
No. Swoopcut only makes videos. For a click-through demo, use Navattic, Arcade or Supademo. See Arcade vs Supademo for two cheaper self-serve options.
